Meet Handsome Cooper. This beautiful Australian Shepherd is 8 years old and only 24 lbs. Cooper is a ball of energy and you would never guess that he was more than 3 years old. He is having the time of his life now that he has a huge fenced in yard where he runs and plays with his foster brothers and sisters. Cooper came to Critter Cavalry because his mom could no longer take care of him. This active guy loves people and is great with dogs of all sizes. He also does not bother the resident cats. Cooper would enjoy an active family that will take him on walks and hikes. He would probably enjoy running but with all that fur that should probably not be a summer activity. He is smart too and would love a family that would teach him things. He knows how to walk on a leash but does pull a bit. He is the perfect companion for someone who would like to teach him commands, maybe even agility. Cooper has lived as an only dog but does enjoy the company of other dogs. A fenced in yard is a must for this active guy. Cooper has been neutered, is current on all his shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and he has had a dental. To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (Cooper is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)
