Hi my name is Larson. I am a stately terrier mix who is 10 years old and I weigh 15 lbs. I had the unfortunate luck to end up in a rural Tennessee shelter. I could not believe that my family 'threw' me away. I moved wrong and hurt my back. The next thing I knew I was in pain and I no longer had a home. I heard the shelter employees say that I could not stay there and I was afraid I knew what that meant (curtains for me). I was so surprised and relieved when Miss Peggy came to pick me up. I went to the doctor and am now on an anti-inflammatory. I feel much better and am hoping to find my forever home before long. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home and I am OK with the resident cats. I don't play much but do enjoy a stroll around my foster mom's fenced in yard. If it is not too hot, I love laying in the sun. I ride like a champ in the car and am a great co-pilot. I like to sit there and look out the window. I have to be careful how I get in and out of the car but otherwise do just fine. Miss Peggy has a doggie door and I know how to use that. I also eat in a crate and know exactly which one is mine. I am not a high maintenance guy. I like to with you and will get up to look for you if you leave the room. When it is time to watch TV I ask to come up as I need some help getting on the sofa. Then it is time for a nap. I am a wonderful guy who would love to find a loving home where I can spend my senior years. I still have a lot of life to live. I am neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. To be considered for my forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (I am currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.
