Meet Asha Marie , the 4-month-old, 6-pound cutie pie who's bursting with personality! This fun, feisty, and fearless little pup is always up for an adventure. Asha Marie’s zest for life is matched only by her endless cuteness. She will keep you laughing with her playful antics and endearing sweet face. Despite her small size, her presence is mighty, making her the perfect companion for those who appreciate a lively and spirited friend. When the excitement winds down, Asha loves to snuggle up close, showing her cuddly precious side. She loves to play w ith her foster siblings and gets along great with everyone. Asha Marie can entertain herself for a while with toys and bones too. S he is well mannered and friendly on outings and loves exploring outside to find treasures like sticks and pinecones . She is incredibly smart and very food motivated which makes training her a breeze. She is doing great with potty training if allowed frequent outings. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night for 5-6 hours before needing to go out. She needs a small active companion dog in her forever home. Fenced yard is required for off leash playtime. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.

Interview

If your application is approved, our adoption coordinator will call to discuss the dog and answer any questions you have about the process.

Home Check

We complete home checks & contact your previous/current vet clinics to ensure your pets are up to date on vaccinations & are spayed/neutered

4.
Meet the Pet

The meet typically occurs at the foster home, but from time to time we encourage meets at the adopters home. We allow 45 mintues for a meet.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees can be paid on our website and are, puppies $350-$400 young:$300-$350 adult: $250-$300 senior: $200-$250

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption agreement is sent via docusign. Records and microchip registration are also sent by email after the adoption is finalized.

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs receive spay/neuter, vaccinations appropriate for age, heart worm/flea prevention at intake and every 30 days while in our care, dewormer, heart worm test (if 7mo of age or older) & microchip prior to adoption. Home visits and vet references will be performed prior to adoption. Fenced yards and single family homes are required for most of our dogs.

Thank you for your interest in one of our rescue dogs! We do not have an adoption facility; all of our available dogs are in foster homes throughout north metro Atlanta. To schedule a meet-n-greet, an adoption application must be submitted and approved. The adoption application is available on our website ruffredemption.org The adoption process typically takes one to two weeks and includes a detailed application, phone interview, home visit, and vet reference.
