Ever so LARGE in love, beautiful 3-year-old Lilah is blissfully unaware of her size. The sweet 49-pound former puppy mama, so soft and so wiggly, starts her mornings by stretching across her foster mom, then happily leaping into her lap for cuddles and pets before rolling over for belly rubs. As active as she is affectionate, Lilah loves tossing plush toys up in the air, catching and then tossing them up again, going for walks and on hikes, playing with other equally energetic dogs at the dog park and chasing rabbits and squirrels in the backyard. Highly motivated by food, toys and love, she’s particularly fond of such “treats” as bully sticks, bones, antlers and Kongs. Eager to learn and to please, she’s presently at work on her “sit” command, improving her leash manners, and is nearly crate and house-trained. Now all Lilah needs to thrive is an active home with a securely fenced yard, older children, another playful pup and adoring adopters who will patiently perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that her enviable energy is well spent fur-ever.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
