About Me:
Hey there! I’m Lilah, a 49-pound bundle of love and energy, living life to the fullest. I’ve spent my early years being a devoted puppy mama, but now it’s my time to shine — and I’m ready to find my perfect match!

I’m a certified velcro dog, happiest when I’m by your side during the day and curled up under the covers with you at night. I might even throw in some spontaneous somersaults for belly rubs — just because I can. I’m all about balance: as much as I love snuggles, I’m just as thrilled to hit the trails, go for walks, or have backyard adventures chasing rabbits and squirrels. (Don’t worry, I’m working on my leash skills every day!)

What I’m Good At:

• Mastering commands like “sit,” “lie down,” “touch,” and “treats” (especially “treats”)
• Solving puzzle games — I’m a bit of a foodie and love a good mental challenge
• Rocking cute outfits (I discovered my inner fashionista during a cold snap)
• Hanging out in my crate with a Kong or bully stick, though I’d much rather lounge on the couch and watch the world go by

What I’m Looking For:
An active, loving human (or humans!) who will continue my training, embrace my playful spirit, and make sure I get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I’m almost fully house-trained, eager to learn new tricks, and ready to shower you with endless affection.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) . If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is  $375 .  Our adoption fee covers the following:

• Spay/neuter
• Microchip
• DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
• Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
