My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

A bit about me:

Pinky Pie was brought in as a stray who was found left alone in a park. Tense initially but likes high talking and started wagging her tail and seeking attention when approached with high voice.

My ideal home:

Pinkie Pie has been fearful so far in care. Pinkie Pie would do best in an initially calm and quiet home environment and should be given time to acclimate to her new surroundings.

Good with other pets?

Pinkie Pie has so far shown no reaction to other dogs. Since ACC does not do cat-testing in care, we are unsure of how she would be with cats.

Good with kids?

As a stray, we don't have much information on Pinkie Pie. Until we get to know her better, we recommend a home without young children.

How is my health?

Pinky Pie has received a full exam by our veterinarians and is in good shape! She will need to be spayed before adoption.

How are my leash manners?

Our ACC behavior team is working with Pinkie Pie to develop her leash manners. Currently she does bite the leash during walks but has responded to training very well so we hope she will be a leash walking expert in no time!

What is my behavior assessment?

Pinkie Pie has been assessed at Level 3 - She will need to go to a home with experienced adopters who have prior experience with leash biting and how to manage it safely in a home environment.
