Hi there, I'm Jax! I'm a 5-year-old boy who's still figuring some things out, but what I do know is that I have a whole lot of love to give. I'm a pretty smart guy. I've already mastered walking on a leash and I'm almost a pro at doing my business outside. I am comfortable around other dogs, but I also cherish my alone time to just chill. I am crate trained and sleep quietly in my crate at night.
My foster family is getting to know me better each day, but I'm a bit of a mystery still. I was in the shelter for a while before PLR helped me to get my freedom ride. I was spoiled by the shelter volunteers but I really want a home of my own.
I'm not sure how I feel about cats or kids yet, but I'm open to new experiences. Right now, I'm a little on the skinny side and I'd really love a family who will spoil me with delicious food and lots of cuddles.
I'm up to date on my vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. I'm a sweet and eager-to-please kind of guy, and I always try my best. Sometimes I get a little protective over my food, but I'm happy to share my toys. I really enjoy playing fetch so it would be great if you have a few tennis balls around for me.
I know that with the right love and care, I can truly shine. Could you be the one to help me become the best dog I can be?
