My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is a 3-year-old Mini Poodle 8-10 lbs. He was recently rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Cody will need help with housebreaking and leash training. He's a friendly boy good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He will be in Maine at the beginning of July and needs to be neutered before going home.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
