Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Higgins is an adorable black kitten with a unique, charming white tip on her tail that makes her even more irresistible. She came to Abbey Cats with her two siblings and mum from a municipal animal shelter, and has quickly proven herself to be a true gem.
One of the friendliest cats you’ll ever meet, Higgins loves human company. She’ll happily curl up on your lap and keep you company at mealtimes, even politely sharing a bit of chicken if you offer! Every night, she snuggles up with her foster family, purring loudly—a sound that's surprising given her tiny size.
Higgins is incredibly social, always seeking out pets, cuddles, and playtime with both her foster parents and kitty siblings. She’s the perfect blend of playful and affectionate, with a curiosity that keeps her exploring and learning new things.
Despite her small stature, she’s a brave little adventurer, never shying away from meeting new people or making new feline friends.
She’s also well-mannered, using her litter box perfectly and enjoying quiet moments as much as her playful bursts of energy. If you’re looking for a kitten who will bring warmth, joy, and endless affection into your life, Higgins is ready to be your new best friend!
Higgins would like to be adopted with her foster brother Rowan.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving.
We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are.
We regret any inconvenience caused as we do our best to meet the overwhelming demand we are currently experiencing.
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.

Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter.
We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
