My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Put Short Bio here: Milenese is a small female dog who is friendly with people and dogs. Milenese is a bit afraid of big dogs. Milenese is not house trained yet as far as using the bathroom on training pads but foster is still working with her. Milenese is learning how to walk on a lease outside but does enjoy being outside and watching what is going on around her. Milenese likes to be petted and enjoys belly rubs. Milenese likes a comfortable dog bed. Milenese has displayed a lttle anxiety when left alone for to long.
Fill out all below:
Personality & Characteristics: Milenese is sweet and will flollow you around the house for a little bit and then crawl in her bed and take a good nap. Milenese will come to you for some pets and then go back to her bed. Small dogs don't bother Milenese.
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats) Good with dogs, not sure about cats and kids.
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) I am not sure if Milenese is crate trained. Milenese is not house trained and doesn't shed.
3 Keywords for your pup:
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy):1 Milenese is calm but once or twice since I've had her she made a howling sound at night and then when she saw me she was fine. This past night she hasn't made the sound. At night I keep Milenese in my large bathroom with my other foster dog in her bed where she can roam around and use the training pads.
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Milenese only barks when left alone for to long.
Walking Manners: Milenese is still learning how to walk on a lease.
Appetite: Milenese sometimes eats all her food and sometimes she likes to eat some and come back for the rest.
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) Milenese came to me in a car and I was not told she was carsick, Milenese is only skiddish outside if there are very loud noises, Milenese doesn't like to be left alone for long hours at a time. Milenese will try to escape the tub but you can give her a bath.
Favorite Things:Milenese hasn't played with any of the toys but likes to take her naps after being outside which she enjoys.
Commands/Tricks: N/A

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
