My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Colin a kitten full of love, playful energy, and endless purrs. Colin is a Domestic Short-haired kitten born at the end of April 2024.  He came to us from Evansville Animal Control.  Colin is a typical kitten who loves to play and does well with other cats.  Colin does well with litter box training and he also does fine with dogs. If you're looking to add a furry friend to your family, Colin might be the perfect match! Visit us at ITVrescue.org to learn more and start the adoption process. Let's find Colin a loving home!

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
