My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopt Tita - Your New Best Friend!
Meet Tita! This pretty girl has just arrived from Mexico, where she was rescued from the streets and brought to safety. Despite her rough start, Tita is an absolute sweetheart with a loving heart.
About Tita:
Age: Approximately 10 months
Weight: About 23 lbs
Breed: Terrier mix
Tita is currently being fostered in the Cobourg area with her foster mom, three dog siblings, and three cat siblings. She's getting along well with the dogs and is calmly ignoring the cats (for now).
Personality: Tita is a lovable and shy girl who can be a little clingy as she adjusts to her new environment. She adores belly rubs and being close to her people. Sometimes, she may whine if she's not nearby, but that's just because she loves your company so much! She is such a good girl and does not get into mischief being a puppy, too. Tita is a happy girl being outside, meeting people and enjoying her social activities.
Training and Behavior:
Tita is learning to walk on a leash and is adjusting well.
Her house training is a work in progress but improving daily.
She sleeps soundly in bed with her foster mom and dog sibling.
Tita does NOT like the crate, plus she is such a good girl there is no need for her to be crated.
She's eating well.
She understands the commands “no” and “sit”.
Ideal Home:
A secure, fenced-in yard. She will NOT do well in condo.
Someone who is home often to keep her company.
A dog sibling would be a bonus!
Tita's foster family is still getting to know her, and they'll be sharing updates as they learn more about her. If you think you can provide the loving forever home Tita deserves, apply today! From what we know so far, she's going to be a wonderful addition to your family.
Give Tita the chance to be your new best friend and enjoy a life filled with love and companionship! Apply now and bring this precious girl home.

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
