My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boba Fetch is a 6.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. True to his Star Wars-inspired name, he’s loyal, affectionate, and a little bit goofy. Boba loves meeting new people, adores butt scratches, and is always eager to show off his smarts—he knows his commands well and is easily redirected with yummy treats.

This curious guy enjoys long walks, where his excellent leash manners and love for sniffing everything make him the perfect outdoor companion. While Boba needs to be the only dog in the home due to his reactivity, he thrives with adopters who can continue his training, using techniques like 180 turns to manage distractions. A backyard or patio where he can potty in peace would make him happiest.

If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, and slightly quirky addition to your family, Boba Fetch is ready to join your galaxy. Meet him today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
