Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**PENNY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Penny is a beautiful girl with a beautiful personality who is searching for her happily ever after! She is estimated to be 1.5-2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Her breed mix is unknown, but we suspect Husky and Chow somewhere in her family tree. Penny is one of the kindest, sweetest, and gentlest dogs we've ever had come through our doors and will make one lucky household incredibly happy. Pal's Place rescued Miss Penny from an overburdened, over-capacity animal control facility in rural Kentucky. A couple of weeks after her rescue, Penny surprised us with some stowaways when she gave birth to three gorgeous little puppies! Her puppies, all little boys we've named Moe, Larry, and Curly, are also available for adoption. She has been a fantastic mom to her pups, and now it's time for the whole family to find their forever homes. Penny loves everyone she meets, people and other dogs alike. She's exceptionally mild-mannered, gentle, and affectionate and has passed her exceptional temperament onto her puppies. A genuine diamond of a dog! Being a young adult dog, she is playful and energetic and would be best matched with an active family. Penny is crate-trained and does well with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. She was recently spayed, is vaccinated, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. She is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been submitted.

• Penny's adoption fee is $375. This fee helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare her for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on adoption fees and donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other dogs like Penny and her family from euthanasia.
• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and put the dog's name in the subject line. Please check your spam/junk folder; sometimes, the applications end up there!
• All of our dogs are in foster homes and can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after receiving an approved application. To receive more info, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. Unfortunately, we cannot hold our adoptable dogs for any reason. Please do not apply until you are prepared to adopt.
