My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sawyer, the perfect blend of playful and laid-back! This charming pup recently had a doggy day out, where he showed off his curious and social nature. Sawyer loves exploring new places, whether itandamp;#39;s a trip to the park or a romp in the yard. Heandamp;#39;s also a great car companion, making him the ideal partner for family outings. He also loves to play with other dogs and is a wonderful companion or playmate for other pups. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Sawyer is gentle and aware of his surroundings, especially around young children, making him a fantastic addition to any family. Heandamp;#39;s friendly, can do a few tricks, and is leash and potty trained, so heandamp;#39;s ready to join you on any adventure. But Sawyer isnandamp;#39;t just about playtime-heandamp;#39;s a certified couch potato who loves to cuddle up and nap with you. If youandamp;#39;re looking for a furry friend who enjoys both outdoor fun and cozying up for a good nap, Sawyer is your guy. With his love for belly rubs and head scratches, Sawyer is always ready to share a quiet, loving moment on the couch.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
