My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is California - don’t let my face fool you, I’m actually super sweet! Churu is my favorite thing in the world, so my forever home must be willing to keep up my treat habit. I love to be pet, but I also just like to be close my people. I am very smart and will follow you around until I understand how everything works in the house! A fun fact about me is I have an adorable white tip on my tail!

More about this rescue

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
