My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet T-Bone – Your Big, Happy Boy!

Age: 1 year
Gender: Male
Breed: Terrier, American Pit Mix
Size: Large

T-Bone is a big, playful, and happy 1-year-old who’s ready to bring joy to any home! While he doesn’t quite know how big he is, his affectionate nature makes him a loveable companion. Training is a must for this guy, especially if you want him around kids, as he’s still learning how to navigate his size and energy. T-Bone is great with other dogs after a proper introduction and would thrive in a home that can provide structure, including scheduled potty breaks.

T-Bone is just an overall happy boy who loves attention and playtime. He’s looking for a family that can give him the time and training he needs to become the best companion possible. Could you be the right fit for this joyful, loving pup? Come meet T-Bone today!

More about this shelter

The Aberdeen Area Humane Society serves the northern South Dakota and southern North Dakota area. We are here in the interests of animal welfare. We place homeless animals into good homes as well as rescue animals from abusive situations. We have a shelter facility just southwest of Aberdeen and house many animals while we try to find them good homes. We are a non-profit organization and are funded by memberships, donations, fundraisers and adoptions.

If you suspect an animal is being mistreated and/or abused, contact us. We will investigate or refer to the appropriate agency. Your call can be kept confidential and we will handle the rest.
