Woof! I'm Anvil, and I'm ready to tell you all about myself from my perspective! I'm a goofy and loving pup who adores my humans with all my heart. Despite a rough start in life, I've learned to trust and embrace happiness whenever I'm with people. I'm a total cuddle bug—just call me a "Velcro" dog because I stick to my humans like glue! I've got energy for days, which means I love playing outside and going for walks. Nap time is also a favorite, whether it's on my comfy bed or snuggled up on the couch. Oh, and I'm a bit of a foodie—I can't help but be interested in people food, but my foster family is helping me learn not to beg so much. Now, I'll admit, I have a few things I'm working on. Even though I look grown up, I'm still a puppy and need a family that will work with me to become the best dog I can be! I get really excited sometimes, and that makes me jumpy and mouthy. My foster family has been teaching me not to jump up so much, and they've even introduced a cool command called "on your bed" when I get too mouthy or overly excited. It's like a little time-out, but it helps me calm down and be my best self. Because I am still learning, I probably would fit better in a home with older children. I may be a bit stubborn at times, but with patience and love, I'm learning every day. I dream of finding a forever home where I can continue to grow and share my boundless affection with a family who understands me.
