My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Loon, a lively and affectionate little bundle of joy! I may be small, but I've got some serious hops—I can jump surprisingly high for my size, which always gets a few laughs! When I'm not bouncing around, I absolutely adore snuggling up with my humans. I've mastered my kennel manners and am mostly house-trained, though regular potty breaks keep me in tip-top shape.

I'm a quick learner and eager to please, though my excitement sometimes gets the best of me—I'm working on staying calm, but I promise, I'm getting better every day! Going for walks is one of my favorite things, and I'm a fetch fanatic—I'll chase that ball as long as you're willing to throw it!

I'm also a water baby—playing in the pool outside is the absolute best! And here's a secret: when I'm napping hard, I've got the cutest little snore you've ever heard!

While I thrive with another dog companion to romp and play with, I'd also do great as the center of your world, as long as you keep me busy with plenty of activities and give me lots of love. I can't wait to find my forever home with someone who's ready to join me on adventures and shower me with affection. Let's meet soon!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption application process , which includes a home visit, help us to ensure we find wonderful, permanent loving and caring families for each one of our dogs. We feel that honesty is the best policy when it comes to finding homes for our dogs; we want to avoid any unfortunate surprises after you bring your new friend home. After all, we are looking for a BEDR life for our dogs! There is an online adoption application that must be filled completed before a home visit will be set up. The application can be found on our website,

More about this rescue

PLEASE USE APPLICATION LINK ABOVE, NOT EMAIL!

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
