Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meeny is the bestest young girl. She is playful but ever so sweet. Meeny greets you at the door and is always happy to see you.

Even though her name sounds like she isn't nice, she is a true sweetheart. She adores children and gives the best leg hugs. Meeny likes to be held and purrs very loudly as a way of saying thank you.

Meeny is used to being around other cats and likes them. She has been introduced to dogs, and would do well if given a slow introduction to a cat friendly dog. This girl is located in the Cattery. Make an appointment to come by and meet her today!

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
