If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Charlie at four months old in May 2023 from Pixies and Paws rescue. At the time I did not know I was pregnant. Now have a four month old baby; managing a puppy and the baby is proving to be too challenging.
Charlie is a great dog. Fun loving. Very active. Very social. He loves being trained.
I put experinced owner bc Charlie needs owners who can keep a watchful eye. Inside the home needs to be Charlie proofed; as he goes after socks, chicken bones or ripped toys that could hurt him. Restricting him to a safe area is helpful when visiting at someone’s home.
Charlie loves saying hi to dogs & people. He is well socialized. He loves to play. He has a fun goofy bold personality and people instantly love him.
He is incredible off leash. On leash he may pull when he needs to pee or poop. He knows the command leave it.
When people enter his house, he settles in with some but can be or protective of the space with others which he expresses with his bark. Treats help calm him.
