My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our handsome boy is called Blue Sully and he is as nice and easy going as his name.  He came from a situation where he and two other Heelers were dropped off in the country near a man’s home in Tennessee.  He kept them fed and watered for several weeks and then realized he just could not feed and care for  (they all needed to be spayed and neutered and more) these  3 sweet dogs and so he delivered them to the local small town shelter.  What great dogs they are too!   Blue Sully is one year old and weighs 53 pounds.  He is such a total package too.  His temperament is easy going and loving and is pretty much housebroken.  His foster said he is wonderful with all her cats and fosters kittens, good with all the other dogs and he is a dream to walk on a leash. She said that he knows a few commands and had to have lived inside with someone in the past.  He is too mannerly and polished to have only lived outside all his life.   We are looking for someone that wants a handsome, star canine companion.  We love everything about him and so will you!!!  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
