My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guinevere was found wandering the streets of Texas City when she was around 6 months old. She stayed in a shelter for 5 months until she was fostered. Guinevere was heartworm positive when she entered her foster home, but she has now completed her full heartworm treatment and is ready for her forever home!

Guinevere is around 18 months old and weighs 55 pounds. She is the MOST loving dog I’ve ever met. She has never met a stranger and approaches everything as an exciting new adventure. She’s always happy and she loves to love. She’s also incredibly smart and very motivated to please.

While in her foster home, she’s learned a lot of manners and basic commands, as well as how to walk on a leash beautifully. Her foster family includes a 10 year-old human boy, several cats, a large dog, and a tiny dog, so Guinevere has been exposed to all sorts of variables and has done great with them all!
