My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 **Hi there! I'm Pporong, a 7-year-old Terrier mix gentleman** 🐶. I'm a dapper dude with a **black and white coat**, tipping the scales at a **light 6.6 kg**. I've been fixed, so no little Pporongs running around for me!

🏥 My journey hasn't been the easiest—I've got some signs of arthritis in my patellar groove, but hey, I still walk with pep in my step!

🍖 I'm a bit of a shy boy at first, especially with new humans and furry friends. Give me a snack, and I'll warm up to you, but let's take it slow, okay? I've never hung out with kids under 13, so that's an unknown adventure for me.

🐾 I'm cool with being picked up—just scoop me under my belly. I'll say hello to other dogs, but I'm more of a solo artist than a playgroup pup. And, I've got to be honest, I'm not too keen on sharing my toys or treats; I can get a bit grumbly if another dog tries to muscle in.

🐱 Cats? Never met 'em, so I can't say much there.

🌳 Outdoors is where I shine! I love a good walk and I'm a pro at following along without tugging you around. But after some fun in the sun, I'm all about that chill life.

🍽️ Food is my jam—I'm super motivated by a tasty treat, but it's best to feed me separately from other dogs to avoid any dinner drama.

🔊 I'm not shy about speaking up when I want something, and strangers will hear me before they see me. Kennels make me a bit whiny, but that's just because I'd rather be with you!

So, if you're looking for a loyal companion who's got a lot of love (and a little sass) to give, I'm your guy. Let's meet and treat! 🦴

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
