Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Looking for a sweet and a little nutty kitty? Look no further - Goober is your kitten. Goober came to TCR when he and his brother, Raisinet, were brought in to a TNR clinic. They were so small, we couldn't imagine putting them back outside.
Goober is the more timid of the two siblings. However, once you present him with wet food or a wand toy, he will be your best friend forever! Goober purrs VERY loudly as soon as he sees his foster mom. He is very active and playful and will pretty much make anything a toy. He loves playing with chase toys, like springs, catnip mice, crinkle balls and wand toys. Unlike his brother, Goober prefers to sleep inside cat hideaway beds or something he feels safe in.
Goober would do well in a variety of homes, with proper introductions. Given his age and kitten energy, he would either need to be adopted with his brother or into a home with another young, high-energy kitty friend. He has not yet met a dog in foster, but he may do OK with a cat-savvy pup, with proper introductions. We think he could do well with older, respectful kiddos.
Goober is about 5 months old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. If you are looking for a playful, sweet new friend, apply for Goober today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
