Meet Stewie! This adorable (best guess on breed) Rottweiler/Sher-Pei mix was born February 7, 2024.
Here is a little bit about him:
Stewie is great with other dogs of all genders and sizes, he’s trustworthy with cats and has had exposure to backyard chickens as well. He loves to cuddle and has the cutest (but loudest) puppy snore! He is crate trained, potty trained, and working on basic commands and leash walking.
We are seeking a home for him with a securely fenced yard. He will really thrive in a home with another active canine companion. If there are kids in the home, preferably over the age of 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
