Rosco is looking for a forever home! Rosco is a 6-8 year old neutered hound mix who weighs about 60 pounds. Rosco has been very good at the vet clinic where he goes and the staff loves him. He can be a bit nervous but he’s very easy to work with. He was adopted from Rover Rescue last year, but he isn't working out in his current home because he is protective of his current family and when taking walks, he is very dog reactive. His current family doesn't have a fenced yard, so they must walk him and he will bark and lunge at other dogs when on walks. His new home must have a fully fenced yard so he can get his exercise without getting worked up seeing other dogs. Rosco needs to be the only pet in the home and there should be no kids in the home. The best family would be a home where there isn't a lot of activity and the adults in the home are dog savvy. Rosco is a good dog, but he just needs that one person to save him and help him understand what is needed to be a great dog. Please let us know if you or someone you know would be interested in giving Rosco a good home! To meet Rosco, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. His adoption fee is $100.
