My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Holly is in a foster home. ***

Black/orange tortoiseshell, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/18/23, #18812

Cats: loves a feline friend!
Dogs: unknown
Children: gentle & respectful kids

A longtime volunteer who regularly feeds homeless cats was on one of her rounds when she spotted Holly in a filthy yard. She was tiny and malnourished and was suffering from heavy congestion. With lots of love and TLC in foster care, Holly has blossomed into a healthy and vibrant young kitty who is now ready to find a forever home!

Holly is an affectionate and loyal companion who is energetic and intelligent. While she knows her own mind and prefers to keep her paws under her own control rather than be carried, she will follow you around like a puppy meowing for attention and wanting you to sit down so she can get her proper cuddles. Holly loves human interaction and will make you feel cherished every day. She likes it if you'll position a cat tree near a window so she can watch Kitty TV while enjoying cozy sunbeams. She has a playful spirit and often sleeps with her favorite toys. For some reason she seems drawn to bright pink and yellow toys... and water. Water is lots of fun! Some splatters aside, watching Holly play will bring endless joy and laughter to your home.

Holly would thrive in a home with another energetic feline friend; she has grown up around other cats and is good at winning them over with her gentle inviting playfulness. While her thoughts on dogs are unknown, a proper introduction to a cat-friendly canine might work out. Children who understand how to treat a cat gently and respect her desire to not be carried around would be a great match for Holly.

Holly's journey from sickly and underweight to joyously healthy is nothing short of miraculous. She's ready to bring her sparkling energy and loving nature into a new forever home. Adopt Holly and let her fill your life with love, playfulness, and companionship!
