Hi there! My name is Journee and I am a 4-month-old, 30 lb female. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter getting me spayed once I reach 6 months of age. I am working on my housetraining and starting to get the hang of it. I am already crate-trained. Since I am a baby, I am crated when left home alone and overnight to keep me safe.
I make friends easily with men, women, and children! I love being pet and snuggling up in people’s laps! I will let you know when someone arrives then happily welcome the visitors to our home.
I do well with other dogs and would love to have a playful sibling! I have been doing well with understanding canine social skills and am respectful of the senior dog in my foster home. I like playing with toys, especially chew bones or plush toys! I haven’t quite gotten the hang of fetch yet. I cannot go to a home with cats.
I tolerate car rides well and have been working on my leash skills so I can grow into the best companion I can be! I have already learned “off” for when my jumping up isn’t appreciated. I’d love to expand my vocabulary with continued training! My foster mom says I am an easy puppy who could do well in most homes—could you be my family?

Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
