This helps Atlanta Lab Rescue with pet care costs.
Hannah is a four-year-old, 50-pound mix who was in a shelter when they had some issues with their HVAC system and needed to get dogs out. They had sent a lab for us to consider, but wanting to help as much as possible, we told them to send us another one, so they sent Montana, Hannah’s sister. It didn’t take long to figure out that the two were sisters and we would not leave one behind, so one dog turned into three. Hannah is sweet, shy, quiet but well-mannered, and good with people and other dogs. She is also clean in her kennel. If you would like to foster to adopt Hannah (or both), please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply.
FROM THE FOSTER: Hannah has been a great foster dog. She is house and crate trained, Hannah enjoys putting her harness on and going for a walk, but is also happy on days when we are hanging out at home. She loves to chew bones, but is gentle with her stuffed toys. Hannah loves people and enjoys saying hello to our neighbors and their dogs on our daily walks. She is doing ok in her crate when we are out, but we make sure she has toys and treats. She might actually do better out of the crate, but we have not tried that yet. Hannah will make a great addition to her adoptive family.
FROM THE FOSTER: Her personality has really popped out over the last week. She is still cautious, but she is exploring more in our yard and being more independent every day. She had a playdate with our son's french bulldog and she had a great time. She is very dog savvy and if she doesn't want to interact with a dog (on a walk or through our fence) she just walks away or walks behind us. She did well with kids at the adoption event. Everyone in our neighborhood who has met her loves her. She has been the perfect house guest--almost no barking, no accidents and no chewing on anything other than toys.
