My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our adoption process can be found on our website here: www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/process
________________________________________________________________________________

Estimated birth date: 5/24/24

Personality: Curious, Energetic, Friendly toward humans, Hesitant, Inquisitive, Mouthy (puts mouth on you but does not bite down, usually thinking your fingers are food)

Favorite treats: Mealworms, Churu, and baby teething snacks

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Mouse & Young Rat Food, Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food, Shunamite style blend

Favorite toys and activities: Running on the wheel and burrowing

Potty trained: We're working on it!

This animal’s daily routine: Cache's foster scatter feeds the girls twice a day, morning and evening, and in the evening they free roam for around an hour before Cache's foster scatters their remaining food in the cage so they’ll put themselves back in for the night.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Cache & Error are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction:
dog, curious.
No-contact exposure to a cat, which made them anxious. They are used to the smell of a cat without the cat present since they’re in a cat household

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? no

Health concerns: prone to upper respiratory infection, and they are being treated. Hopefully this will resolve prior to their adoption

Behavioral concerns: None

Other notes: Cache is super outgoing and curious, and just a bit of a troublemaker. She wants to go exploring and as soon as she and Error are ready for free roam, I’m sure she’ll be busy trying to find new ways to be naughty. Good thing she’s cute as a button! Those big dark eyes and dumbo ears serve her well.

8/30 - Cache is sweet and food motivated.

Cache & Error were born in rescue shortly after their mothers arrived.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Cache & Error have a combined adoption fee of $35

We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.

Cache's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored. If you would like to donate to provide veterinary care, food, bedding, and enrichment for Cache or other pocket pets in the care of MNPPR, please visit https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/sponsor-a-pocket-pet for more information.
