Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Mouse & Young Rat Food, Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food, Shunamite style food mix
Favorite toys and activities: Bintje loves climbing, burrowing, and wrestling with her sisters!
Potty trained: We're working on it!
This animal’s daily routine: Scatter feeding twice a day and spending time talking to them in the evenings and free roam time.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): La Ratte, Vitelotte, & Bintje are a bonded trio and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: dog, curious. Nervous of cat (no direct interaction).
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None
Health concerns: None
Behavioral concerns: Bintje is aggressive when handed food through cage bars, though she is able to distinguish food from fingers. She will steal snacks from her sisters though!
Other notes: Bintje is sweet and outgoing and usually the first to pop her head up and say hi when I go to the rat room. She’s still nervous being actively picked up, and wiggly when held, but least likely to hide from me.
La Ratte, Vitelotte, & Bintje were born in rescue shortly after their mothers arrived.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: La Ratte, Vitelotte, & Bintje have a combined adoption fee of $50
