My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*NEW HOME NOVEMBER ADOPTION SPECIAL- REDUCED FEE $200*

This is Daphne. We believe that she is a Pointer mix.

Daphne came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on June 12th. She was brought to us by a Louisiana shelter in need of help. Since she has been in care, staff members say that she loves to give kisses and play, play, play! She is a little timid at first but quickly warms up and shows you how she likes to run laps and try to jump into your lap for pets and love.

The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
