Curious Buddy - Maltipoo born September 10, 2023 - Buddy is a sweet curious puppy that loves to play all day long. Still in complete puppy mode. Needs more work with potty training but he is doing great if we spend time with him outside and reward him when he potties outside. He's a quick learner. Buddy just arrived at the rescue (our house) last Saturday so he's only been with us a few days. He has learned so much in 4 days, we have crate trained him already and he hasn't had one accident in the crate. He would definitely prefer to sleep with his humans and after we know he is completely potty trained, he will start sleeping with us if not adopted yet. He has been great with all the other rescues but because he's a puppy and the others are a little older, sometimes he is a bit much for them. Buddy does have one little quirk, he will NOT let a man pick him up, he seems scared but only if they try to pick him up. They can bend down and pet him and he's fine but can not try to pick him up. Buddy will not go after men at all, he's a sweet pup it's just something about a male trying to pick him up. Buddy is only available for pre-adoption right now because he still needs to see my vet and be neutered and microchipped.
