Meet Mochi! Mochi is an energetic one-and-a-half-year-old Bulldog/Pug mix, weighing approximately 26 pounds. She is looking for a new home that has more time to spend with her and can provide her with an active lifestyle. Mochi loves to go on walks and play with toys. She is food motivated and easy to train; she already walks great on leash and knows "sit" for a treat. She enjoys chasing bouncy balls, but will often get distracted halfway through and zoom off to do something else instead- "squirrel!" Mochi loves to be with her people and is very friendly, although she will do best in a home with no small children due to her jumpiness/mouthiness when excited. Mochi would thrive as an only dog, or possibly with another dog who matches her energy and play style; so far she seems to do best with male dogs who are larger than she is. Adoption fees are dependent on the age and breed of the animal as well as monthly or seasonal promotions. Please inquire directly as to fee of any animal you're interested in. We do require meet & greets and adopter to be present in person and provide valid id.

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.
