Miss Ella is a boxer who unfortunately was not able to stay in her home due to severe allergies of one of the children.. But we are happy to find her a forever home here in the NW. She came up from TX on a rescue van and did a trial adoption with a family, but they found that she was too interested in their cat. She did great with their kids however so she will be a great family dog, just probably best into a home without a kitty to torment. Ella is about 3 years old and is up to date on vaccinations. She is also microchipped. She walks very nicely on harness/leash and does appear to be housetrained. She is a bit on the thin side so making sure she has quality food and enough is essential for this girl. We will work on getting her up a bit on her weight while in our care. This beauty is available now! Let's get her back into a home where we know she will flourish with a little love and time! Adoption fee is $250. Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

Go meet their pets

TRACS offers appointments daily 1-5 PM during the week excluding Mondays to see and meet adoptable pets. Tracs also adopts cats and kittens from Petsmart in Missoula, Montana. We have adoption days for dogs and cats at Petsmart additionally about 6 times a year. We also attend annual adoption events in the Missoula and Kalispell areas of Montana.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible.
