My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ryder is a 1 1/2 year old very cute Chihauhau/minature pincher. He lived in a foster home prior to coming to us to find his furever home.  His foster mom said he is dog and kid friendly, housebroken, loves car rides and walks good on leash. He sure doesn't like the shelter environment since he was use to being in a home.  Do you think Ryder is the right fit for your family so he can get back into his comfortable surroundings.  Come on out and meet him.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill shelter operating in Sarpy County, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. We re-home dogs, cats and small critters. We work with dogs that are typically on "death row" and take in dogs from kill shelters in KS, TX, MO and elsewhere, as needed. Our cats usually come from kill shelters with an occasional owner surrender under special circumstances. Critters are found a variety of ways.

We also provide boarding and grooming services at very reasonable rates.
