This young doxie mix was saved by a Good Samaritan! When the owner was unable to sell him, he decided to try to dump him and the good Samaritan saved him him! He is approximately four months, 6 to 7 pounds, and appears to be good with other dogs, cats, and kids! He is a puppy so puppy behaviors are to be expected!

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
