At one week old, Velcro and her four siblings were orphaned after their mom was killed by a car. She had hidden them in a cardboard box in a garage so it was fortunate that they were found. These tiny babies were turned over to GRASP where they were hand-raised with tender loving care.
Velcro is a beautiful black tabby (you can see the stripes faintly in her black fur). She got the name Velcro because when she was tiny, she had to be peeled off her foster mom’s shirt after finishing her bottle. Although she doesn’t cling like that anymore, she is still very cuddly. She is self-confident and comfortable in a very active foster home. Velcro plays well with the resident dog and cats and seems to enjoy watching the vacuum cleaner at work. She is used to a very busy home with lots of activity going on.
Velcro will be a loving lifetime companion in a home where his gentle, playful personality can shine.
This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
