Nova Lee is a pretty little 10 pound, 5 year old black and white Bichon/Poodle mix girl who has all the wonderful fluff and love that you want in a little snuggle bunny companion. Her story started incredibly as a stray and she was surrendered to the rescue for the proper vetting needed and a way to find her an outstanding home. We have made sure that she got the best of the best in vetting care which included spay, all shots, dewormings, a dental, microchipped with complete exam and negative heartworm test done. She is currently on heartworm and flea and tick treatments. She is on a schedule for potty training and she also uses puppy pads. Even though this girl could claim her crown as a DIVA DOG….she doesn’t at all. She is friendly and loving with other dogs, cats and she is around young children and likes them too. Nova Lee does initially present herself to strangers with a little shyness and is nervous with new situations. Most dogs who have been abandoned or found as a stray have some issues with trusting new strangers, but she warms up quickly with reassurance. She is pure sweetness and oh so loving. What we like is that she has a playful side to her but has a low, calm energy to her. She is good in her crate and will bark when she needs something. Nova Lee would be a great bed buddy since she sleeps all night in bed with her foster mom, with no accidents. This girl knows how to prance around like a Princess on the leash and she loves nothing more than to sit right there with her people and enjoy having time together.
