"Sheba" is an approx 65-lb, approx 7-yo soon-to-be spayed female GSD who is super-sweet, mellow and all-animal-friendly.
Sheba is up-to-date on vaccinations and is healthy overall. She recently had all of her incisors (the small teeth between the canines) pulled, both in her upper and lower palate. The teeth had been worn down to nubs, likely from chewing on chain link fencing. Sheba has had a complete blood count performed, with all values within normal range.
Sheba has been an absolute sweetheart with everyone she’s met—both adults and older children. She has not met any kids younger than 10 yrs since she was rescued.
Sheba presently lives with four other dogs, including two Chihuahuas, and a few cats. She gets along well with all of the furry residents. She also has visited a ranch where there were horses, goats, pigs, cows, chickens, and ducks; she had no interest in any of them
Sheba was picked up as an abandoned stray in a remote location in Linden, CA. No one stepped forward to claim her and she is not microchipped. There is evidence that Sheba was not treated well in her previous home; despite this neglect or abuse, her spirit is strong and her personality sweet.
Sheba is currently in a foster home in Valley Springs, CA. There will be an adoption fee for Sheba, but it has yet to be set.
