Over the next few days, volunteers patiently left food, building trust as she faithfully returned for her daily meal. The turning point came when Lia, was discovered caring for her newborn puppies near a fenced slope. Seizing the opportunity, rescuers safely gathered Lia and her pups. Bearing scars and the loss of a leg, likely from a past entanglement with fencing, Lia’s story is one of incredible courage, dedication and survival. She’s now seeking a forever home where she can finally experience the love and security she deserves.
