Louisa is one of the calmest and sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She loves other dogs and cats. She takes a little while to trust humans but after 30 minutes to an hour of gaining her trust, she will be your best friend. Due to her trust issues, families with younger children are not advised. Louisa spends most her time lounging in dog beds while inside the house. While outside the house, she enjoys a leisurely sniff around the yard. And look at those beautiful red markings, how can any one resist this sweet girl?

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
