My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ziti! I am about a year old and about 20 lbs. I am a cute little thing. I am active, playful, friendly with dogs and cats, silly and friendly. I love affection. I am also crate trained and housebroken. I will probably need some patience with my transition (like all dogs) in terms of my housebreaking. We think I am a really cool mix of a Basenji and a Corgi or what is known as a Corsengi! One note about me... (and most would think this makes me even more special)! I was born with a birth defect. One of my back legs is straight (it does not bend at the knee). This has not and does not cause me any pain. I still play and run with the other puppies but I do look a bit different. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application.

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs. ASCZ is committed to knowing our dogs but also to knowing our adopters. Every dog deserves a second chance and we are passionate about making their second chance a success.
