Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our super silly and playful dude named Ducky! Ducky is a young boy who came to us after someone claimed they took him from someone else who was going to abandon him a city park. They could not have more dogs where they lived, so they called us and asked if we could provide a safe place for Ducky to go. We met this friendly guy and promised him we would find him a family who would love him for all his quirks! We think Ducky is around 1 year old and he looks like he can be mixed with a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever type dog. He is goofy and loves to run around outside. He does have a longer hair coat that will need to be kept clean and brushed regularly. He can be a little bit of a scaredy cat with new things, but he has been nothing but friendly with our staff. Ducky has a decent amount energy and he would love to have an active family to run around with! Ducky would love to be adopted soon so he can get out of the kennel!
Ducky seems fine with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 12 years old and older.
If you are interested in adopting Ducky, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee is $75.00.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
