My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly

Lab/hound Mix - Born 2023 - 45lbs

Molly is a sweet, full of energy 1 1/2 year old lab/hound mix. She came to us from Texas with her 7 puppies. She was a very good mom and now it’s time for her to find a loving home. She is house trained, loves to play with toys, enjoys other dogs, and gets the zoomies outside. She is a great doorbell and let you know when there is a delivery! She loves to be with people and does get anxious when by herself. She can jump low fences, so a home with yard and a 6ft fencing will be ideal. Since she is high energy with a high prey-drive, home without a cat, bird, or farm animals will be the best match.

More about this shelter

Animal Lifeline of Iowa, Inc is a special needs, no-kill animal shelter that accepts unowned dogs/puppies and cats/kittens that are disabled, injured, neglected, pregnant, nursing and orphans requiring bottle feeding. Along with veterinary care, our army of caring volunteers nurse the animal back to health and when healthy we place the animal up for adoption. Our founding belief is that every animal deserves a loving home and should not be killed simply because they have been at the shelter too long.
We are a 501 (c)3 charitable organization and rely solely on donations. We receive no government funding.
