Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
We are so proud of our warrior pup Gunner. As many of you will remember, back in May we took in a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy who'd been hit by a car and was critically injured. Over the last several months Gunner has received ALL of the best medical care we could provide, largely thanks to your generous donations. Gunner has been working through physical therapy and has truly made an incredible recovery - he is an inspiration to all of us! While Gunner might not ever walk completely normal, it certainly does not slow him down. But let's be honest, when have the words "normal" and "young GSP" ever been used in the same sentence? ;) In true GSP fashion, he is ready to GO GO GO! He absolutely adores his GSP foster siblings and he will need a home with another high energy dog who loves to play. He just celebrated his first birthday a couple weeks ago, and he is just the happiest, derpiest, sweetest, silliest boy ever. We know he's going to make some family VERY happy!
Gunner is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and he's all ready to find his new family! He needs a family with high energy breed experience, and he also needs a family who is willing to continue working on his physical therapy exercises with him to make sure he stays in the best shape possible! Gunner is fostered in Sarasota, Florida and his adoption fee is $400. If you think you could be the right fit for this beautiful goofball, please complete an adoption application at the link below or email us at info@love4pawsfl.org for more info!

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.
Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
