My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone!!!! I`m Tony!

Are you looking for a fun dog who likes to do fun things? Look no further than this smiley goof! My smile is contagious, my hilarious antics, and my swim style - what more could you look for? I`m an energetic, handsome, almost 3 year old boy looking for my fur-ever home. Some nice folks found me wandering the streets and brought me to the Humane Society of Sedona to get me out of the heat. I don`t know much about my past but I`m really looking forward to a new future with my new family!

I`ve been told that I am full of energy! So I my perfect fur-ever family would need to make sure I get lots of walks, hikes, swim time, and lots of fetching. If you are looking for the perfect adventure buddy, my friends at HSS would tell you that I`m your guy! I know basic commands and am so excited to learn all the new things you want to teach me.

I haven`t been around other dogs yet, but if you have any at home, I would love to meet them. I am learning manners, walking on a leash, how to sit and be patient. I am microchipped, up to date on vaccines and neutered.

If you want to come meet me, please call my friends at the Humane Society of Sedona (928)-282-4679 and set up a time. They are open 7 days a week, 10-4, except major holidays. I can`t wait to meet you!!!!

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
