MEET OLIVE #3!!

Meet Olive, a spirited six-year-old Cairn Terrier from Gilbert, AZ, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously tan coat with charming white accents. This medium-sized lady, weighing a sturdy 30 pounds, is a bundle of playful energy and endearing quirks that will bring endless smiles to her future family!

Olive’s days are best spent chasing squeaky toys and balls, activities that she can enjoy from dawn until dusk. Her love for the outdoors makes her a perfect companion for a home with a fenced yard, where she can explore and play to her heart's content. Olive is also a well-trained lady, knowing commands such as sit, down, stay, high-five, shake, and wait. Her intelligence and obedience make her a delightful and manageable pet.

While Olive's playful and stubborn nature makes her an independent spirit, she thrives best in a calm and patient environment. She can experience anxiety with sudden movements and excessive commotion, and she's also nervous during car rides and initial moments in her crate. However, with a bit of patience and understanding, she settles down and finds her comfort zone.

This little terrier is not just playful but also health-conscious. Olive has a liver condition that requires daily medication and a special diet, both easily managed. Despite her health needs, Olive is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and house-trained, making her ready for her new adventure with the right family.

Olive’s ideal home is one without other animals, as she prefers to be the center of attention and can be aggressive towards other pets. She's also more comfortable in a household without children. However, she loves humans deeply once she gets to know them and will become a loyal and affectionate companion.

Imagine Olive lying on the couch, peering out the window, waiting for you to come home and join her for an afternoon of play! Her timid yet playful demeanor, coupled with her love for toys, will melt your heart. Are you ready to provide a patient, loving home for Olive and embark on a journey filled with joy and companionship?

Reach out to  meet Olive and discover the boundless love and fun this sweet Cairn Terrier has to offer! Could Olive be the playful friend you've been searching for?

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.
