Hi, I'm Stormi! You may remember me from last year where I ended up at the shelter after running loose in the woods for about two weeks. I am back at the shelter, looking for my forever home. I'm a Cane Corso, a breed known for its intelligence, strength, and loyalty. I'm 1 year and 7 months old. I'm sweet and affectionate when I'm in the right hands. I do suffer from some separation anxiety so I'll need help with my confidence and how to self-soothe when alone. I also would love to be given a job to perform so I can keep myself entertained and prevent boredom. In my previous home, I lived with cats, so I'm used to having furry siblings. I promise, once I get to know you, I'll be your most loyal friend. I'm looking for a human who understands my breed and can give me the love, assertiveness, training, and care I deserve. Ps. I love getting rewarded with treats. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will always be there for you, who will love you unconditionally and make your house a home. The Allegany County Animal Shelter serves as the municipal shelter for Allegany County and is located at 716 Furnace Street in Cumberland. For many years, the shelter served as the final destination for nearly 85% of the animals that entered it. In late 2010, a group of passionate citizens led the charge to change the nature of the shelter with a goal of doing as much as possible for every animal, every day. It was the first step on the journey to becoming A Shelter of Hope.
