Meet Sable! This adorable 1.5-year-old mixed breed weighs in at about 50 pounds and is a bundle of joy and energy. Sable is housetrained, always keeping her run at the shelter spotless. She loves running around and showing off her cutest "zoomies" in the yard. With a passion for toys, bones, and playing with other dogs, Sable knows how to entertain herself, especially when it comes to tearing the squeaker out of toys.

Sable is great on a leash and excels at holding her "sit" command. Her intelligence and eagerness to please suggest she'll be a quick learner. While she hasn't been around kids yet, her sweet and friendly nature makes us confident she'd do well with them.

Described by staff as friendly, outgoing, confident, adaptable, happy, playful, and quiet, Sable is a true sweetheart. She loves treats, pets, and lots of attention. Although she is quiet in her kennel, she'd much prefer to be hanging out with her person whenever possible. Sable's treat motivation and high trainability make her a delightful companion ready to bring joy to any home.

Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
